MAD's 67 minutes in honour of a Legend
The 18th July is a special day in every South African's diary. We celebrate the birthday of ex-President Nelson Mandela, or Madiba, as his legacy around the world continues. In honour of this extraordinary hero, MAD will pledge our 67 minutes of Making A Difference in our communities.
At MAD’s Head Office in Cape Town, we have challenged our entire office block to partner with us over the next week to gather warm clothing, blankets and tinned food for the needy and homeless in these extreme weather conditions. If you wish to participate in our “Winter Warmer Drive”,

MAD’s Johannesburg Office is working just as hard as they are sorting through thousands of books that has been collected in association with RMB Private Bank and Kingsmead College. Together with the MAD learners, a “Sort-a-thon” has taken place to sort through literally hundreds of books and categorise them in their relevant sections. The team will be heading to Soweto this week to hand out these much needed books to needy schools. The handover has been arranged by the MAD Alumni team as they are eager to give back their 67 minutes.
Furthermore, as a build-up to Madiba Day MAD learners started giving back in their communities, kicking off on Youth Day in June 2012.
